Congratulations to Jennifer Grant and Jackie Sample, who were elected to the Catholic Center Leadership Board for the positions of Vice-President and Initiatives Coordinator.  Other official additions to the team include Andi Schodorf, our new Historian, and Jarad Heimer, our committee chair for the Buildings & Grounds.  We are thankful for your willingness to serve and look forward to having you as our leaders!

Calling all men!  Next Saturday, February 18 the Catholic Center is having a Manly-Man Night.  The purpose of the night is to discover our masculine identity in Jesus with fellow brothers.  The night will start with the 5:30 pm mass with festivities through the whole night including dinner, adoration, a talk, and Braveheart.

There will be a Community Dinner next Sunday, February 19 after the 5:30pm mass.  The dinner choice is chicken pot pie and a vegetarian option is also available.  Hope to see you all there!

The Spring Retreat will be at Woodland Christian Camp in Temple, GA on February 24 and 25.  We will be leaving at 5:30pm on Friday and returning Saturday night.  The cost is currently $50 and must be paid by February 21 to either Nicholas Le, Kenneth Hughes, or Joanie Gross in the office.  For questions or more information contact Kenneth at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The first "Catholicism" Series Showing will be on February 25 at 7pm.  The series focuses on basic apologetics and "setting the facts straight" so that we can be well-educated on our Catholic faith.

On February 28 at 7:30pm, the Catholic Center will be hosting First Call Atlanta, hosted by the Office of Vocations of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  The night will include praise and worship and learning how to listen to the voice of the Lord.  See the facebook event for more details.

Do you love the Catholic Center and think our events are totally awesome?! Do you want to spread the word about GTCC events so that everyone can join in the fun? Well...then I can use YOUR help starting up a PR Committee so that we can better spread the word about Catholic Center events through advertising and outreach to the rest of campus.  I am looking for a group of around 4 to 5 people (or more if there's interest) who would be wiling to help out with flyering, chalking around campus, updating the chalkboards, speaking to organizations, and other ways in which we can promote events.  If you're interested email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
