Write a letter to your Congressman! In light of the recent contraception mandate under Obama, a group of students met at the Catholic Center this Wednesday, February 1, at 6pm to write letters to their congressman expressing their views. An opportunity to participate will be offered after all masses this weekend. Envelopes, stamps, and information about your congressman will be provided. Since the mandate so clearly violates both our freedom of religion and beliefs on this issue, everyone is encouraged to write a hand-written letter to their congressman.
There will be a Superbowl Party on February 5 after the 5:30 mass. The party will also be a charity event so bring in canned goods and place them under your favorite team! The team logos are up on the fireplace.
Valentines Day Ball: Join us for a fun night at the CC on Saturday, February 11 at 7pm to celebrate the divine goodness of the relationship between man and woman the way God intended. Calling all men! On Saturday, February 18 the Catholic Center is having a Manly-Man Night. The purpose of the night is to discover our masculine identity in Jesus with fellow brothers. The night will start with the 5:30 pm mass with festivities through the whole night including dinner, adoration, a talk, and Braveheart.
