Today, Georgia Tech has roughly 19,500 students, with about 3,800 of those students being Catholic! The Georgia Tech Catholic Center remains a hub of positive campus activity – a place where Catholic students of every age and from all over the world – come together to receive the sacraments, discover the Catholic tradition, discern vocations, attend retreats, share coffee and donuts, participate in service-oriented ministries and give time and talent to assist the poor and hungry. These are but a few of the opportunities to worship, play, study and pray offered regularly at Georgia Tech Catholic Center.
As Catholics, it is our responsibility to build the Church on campus. We must sustain the vital contributions to intellectual, moral and spiritual growth that campus ministry provides for young people. Studies show that the most important time in determining if an adult will continue in their faith traditions is during their college years. The goal of the Georgia Tech Catholic Center is to continue to build up the Body of Christ in our Church and our world.
We are 100% self-funded by donations from our students, alumni, parents, faculty and friends and receive NO support or subsidy from the Archdiocese of Atlanta. We are not a typical parish. We are a campus ministry and while stewardship is strongly emphasized, our “parishioners” are almost entirely students with limited resources.
We ask you to consider a gift to the GTCC either through a weekly/monthly/quarterly offertory, participating in our Annual Fund Drive, designating your Georgia Tech Roll Call contribution to us, sponsorship of an event or activity, a gift-in-kind or through a planned gift.
100% of our revenue comes from donations. Your gift, no matter the size, has a tremendous positive impact on our students every day and allows us to continue to expand our ministry and outreach to students. Each and every Mass and program is only possible through your support. Please explore the site and prayerfully consider how you can be involved in shaping the future leaders of our Church and community.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Development Director Joanie Gross, (404) 892-6759 with any questions, comments or to discuss how you can help or become involved.
Thank you for your support!
