Hey everybody! I’m Donovan, if I’m not at the Catholic Center you can probably find me at the Air Force ROTC building or somewhere working on homework. I’m so thankful to be able to serve as the president of the CSO for 2020. Wandering into the CC as a freshman I never could have guessed I’d be where I am now. I was first involved at the CC as a singer in our beautiful 9:30 Latin Mass choir when my roommate and I invited to join. From there I gradually became more involved, joining a bible study and showing up to some Monday night Faith Formation classes. Next semester I really started to find a home at the CC, I picked up a holy hour that was still open and started helping with the classes. At the beginning of my sophomore year I really started to dive in, teaching my own bible study and spending as much time as I could at daily mass and in the adoration chapel. Last year I was liturgy chair where I got to learn so much about the mass and meet such a large portion of the community. I can say without a doubt the Catholic Center has been the most transformative part of my college career. It’s a place where I’ve found authentic faith, true friendship, and a home.
