Fr. Branson Hipp

Originally from Haubstadt, Indiana, my family and I moved to the Fayetteville area of Georgia. After much prayer and discernment in high school, I entered Saint Joseph College Seminary in Covington, Louisiana, where I had the opportunity to study Philosophy. Afterwards I attended Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland to study Theology in preparation for the priesthood. I was ordained to the priesthood on June 27th, 2015. After sometime at St. Patrick Church and Prince of Peace, I was made Associate Director of Vocations where my ministry has allowed me to work with many men as they discern their potential call to the priesthood. Now I am serving as chaplain of the Georgia Tech Catholic Center, supporting the Yellow Jacket community. I enjoy reading, hiking, and losing in racquetball.
