I am a native of Georgia: I grew up in Roswell and after college lived in Villa Rica, GA and Atlanta. I am a graduate of Georgia Tech (BS Management, 1999). I also did one year of studies for a Masters in Economics at Georgia Tech before my job made it impossible to continue. I worked for six years as a private equity analyst for a firm based in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. before applying for and being accepted to seminary. I studied philosophy for two years at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. The following five years I spent in Rome, Italy at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy. During that time I earned a Baccalaureate of Sacred Theology (STB) from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a License in Sacred Theology (STL) in Patristics from the same institution.
I was ordained in 2011 for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. My first year of priesthood was spent in Rome finishing my License. Since then I was assigned as the Parochial Vicar of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA.
I am very happy to be back at Georgia Tech and to be your Chaplain.
