Hey everyone! My name is Kayla MacLeod and I am so excited to be the President for the Catholic Center. My first memory at the Catholic Center is going to Sunday mass right after Freshman move in and being welcomed at the door by these people called FOCUS missionaries. Since then I have been lucky enough to get more involved in the Catholic Center through bible studies, serving on the 2021 CSO Board as Public Relations Chair, and just hanging out and getting to know the amazing people that make up such a wonderful place. Outside of the Catholic Center, I have gotten involved in Buzz Buddies (a mentoring club for children at the local Boys and Girls Club), the Society of Women in Business, a VIP program called Global Social Entrepreneurship, a GT1000 TL, and various internships throughout Atlanta. I love to read and travel, so if you have any book recommendations or crazy travel stories I would love to hear them. The Georgia Tech Catholic Center has become like a second home to me, a safe haven amongst the craziness that is Georgia Tech, and a place that has taught me so much about God’s love for his children. I can’t wait to see what the new year will bring and am thrilled to be able to give back to this community!
